Research and Development (R & D)
R & D center is established with a seed grant of Rs. 10 lakhs to carry out basic research in various branches of Engineering and Sciences. R & D center interacts with different funding agencies, identified their problems and solve them in stipulated time. All the heads of the departments of Engineering and Science branches of members of R & D Center. Dr. P. Sarah is appointed as Dean of R & D center of the College.
The research project proposals submitted to various funding agencies are as follows:
1. Dr. P. Sarah is working on Investigation and Development of Bismith-Layered Perovskite Ferroelectrics for Piezoelectric Application sanctioned by DRDO, New Delhi for an amount of Rs.14.95 lakhs.
2. Dr. P. Sarah has submitted the research project on Development of Bismith-Layered Perovskite Ferroelectrics thin films suitable for high temperature sensor Application to BRNS, BARC for an amount of Rs.19.85 lakhs. The project is approved and the financial approval is expected shortly.
