Vardhaman College Placements
Training and Placement gives a silver lining to the course and is a curtain raiser for students career making. The Training and Placement wing of VCE understands the current needs of the industry and creates an awareness in the students of the various opportunities and openings available for them, well in advance, even when they are in the second year of the course.
The Placement and Training Centre was started with the following objectives.
1. To organize campus interviews
2. To enhance industry-institute interaction
3. To organize training programs for students to develop communication skills and soft skills.
4. To provide information regarding career opportunities.
5. To organize seminars, workshops and technical talks by eminent personalities from academic institutions and industry, to enhance the knowledge and skills of students.
6. To provide information and guidance for higher studies.
7. To create a database of various industries.
A separate air-conditioned Assembly hall, seven rooms for conducting interviews and three rooms for conducting group discussions are available in the Placement and Training Centre, for organizing interviews, seminars, technical talks etc. In addition to good infrastructure and staff, over the past six years, the progress has been highly encouraging and several well-known companies haveselected many students of VCE.
